Embossing with Lindy's Stamp Gang to soften the metal elements. 

Perfect combination. 

I must say I took my own breath away. 

The Stars of the piece were added with love.
The recipients comment was priceless.

My Mother's Jewels

My Mother's high school Graduation Picture 62 years ago.
 Her Jewelry that she gave me to make 'something beautiful' with.

I coated the canvas with art/basics Heavy Gesso in black
 then texturized using a stencil and art/basics soft gloss gel.
Once dry I started adding the elements.

All secure with art/basics modeling paste.......

Cover it all with art/basics Heavy Gesso-Black.

And then the magic...Finnabair art/ingredients Mica Powders completes it.

The Dressmaker

Gathering the supplies is always so much fun.

Using the Silhouette Cameo I cut out antique scissors to add interest. 

So pretty.

When all was completed I thought it was a bit too pink
 so I stamped my dressmaker onto a piece of pattern paper
then applied it with Finnabair's  Art Basic's Soft Gloss Gel. 

So much better!!
